Direct-fire and launched effects integrated as part of the aircraft system.
Tairos treats the effector, airframe and fire-control path as one engineering problem. The result is a catalogue of kinetic-effect configurations developed for compatible Tairos platforms rather than generic equipment attached to an unrelated aircraft.
The gap it closes
An armed aircraft is shaped by the forces, interfaces and control logic of its effect. Adding an effector after the airframe is complete creates avoidable geometry, reaction-force and integration problems. The Tairos line begins with the operating effect and carries its requirements into the platform layout, mission interface and operator workflow.
Two integration paths
- Direct-fire effectors: integrated with the aircraft’s aiming reference and structural reaction path. Apex-G is the reusable platform configuration for this role.
- Launched effects: carried and released through the modular mission interface. Apex-L is the reusable delivery configuration for this role.
Interfaces across the portfolio
Compatible effectors use tier-matched mechanical, power, data and authorization interfaces. That approach supports repeatable integration, common operator logic and a clearer separation between the aircraft, the mission module and authorized effect.
Human authorization
Every lethal effect requires positive human authorization. The mission module remains separated from aircraft control through a hardware authorization boundary, and the operator can withhold or revoke authorization. Integration is limited to legitimate end users and approved programs.
