Responsible autonomy

Tairos treats authority, abortability and traceability as system requirements rather than policy added after the platform is built.

Engagement authority

Tairos does not configure systems to autonomously select and engage individual human beings. Antipersonnel effects require human-in-the-loop authorization for the relevant engagement.

Bounded missions

Mission authority is defined through time, geography, target class and rules of engagement. Sentinel operates inside the authorized envelope; engagement authority does not propagate laterally through the fleet.

Abortability

Operators retain mission-abort authority. Loss of communications does not expand the mission or create new engagement authority.

Positive action and visibility

Authorization requires a deliberate operator action. State and mode changes must remain visible to the operator, and relevant authorization events are recorded for review.

End use

Tairos limits supply to legitimate end users under:

  • end-user certificates with re-export restrictions;
  • component traceability; and
  • per-program due diligence.

Tairos does not route sales through sanctioned or conflict-diversion channels and does not integrate CBRN payloads.
