Nova-S 3 is the largest member of the Nova-S agile line. It carries the family’s heavy-effect role into the mid band while retaining the line’s emphasis on responsive control and terminal maneuvering.

Mission role

Nova-S 3 addresses armored vehicles, hardened materiel, air-defense assets and command elements that demand more effect capacity than the smaller agile configurations.

It occupies the upper end of the agile line rather than the long-range line. Nova-S 3 serves the heavy-effect mid-band role; Nova-S LR 150 serves the separate operational-reach role.

Configuration

  • Airframe class: largest agile Nova-S configuration.
  • Mission band: mid.
  • Effect class: heavy payload-interface tier.
  • System: Sentinel-native autonomy, communications and operator control.
  • Operating model: heavy-target engagement with agile-line terminal control.

Key advantages

Heavy effect without leaving the family

Units can move from light and standard Nova-S configurations into a heavier target class while retaining the same product doctrine and command environment.

Mid-band focus

Nova-S 3 concentrates its configuration on armor and hardened materiel rather than stretching a smaller model beyond its intended role.

Agility remains the priority

The model stays on the control-focused side of the Nova-S physics trade instead of adopting the endurance-first LR configuration.

Tiered integration

Its heavy payload interface applies the same common integration and safety pattern used by compatible Tairos heavy-tier platforms.

Sentinel relationship

Sentinel connects Nova-S 3 to ISR tracks, operator tasking and the shared operational picture. The platform’s heavier effect does not create a separate command chain.

Responsible control

The operator retains lethal authorization. Target class, operating area and mission time remain bounded, and mission abort remains available.
