Corvus carries long-route navigation and terminal mission functions onboard. It extends Sentinel into the deep-range layer while preserving operator authorization, mission abort and a defined mission envelope.
Mission scenario
Deep-range missions cannot assume continuous satellite navigation or a persistent high-bandwidth link. Corvus executes the approved route aboard the aircraft, monitors mission health and uses inertial navigation with terrain- or visual-assisted guidance as the route approaches the authorized objective.
This architecture keeps the command link focused on mission authority and essential state rather than making basic flight depend on remote compute.
Why deep range is a system problem
Distance alone does not create a useful deep-range capability. The aircraft must carry energy efficiently, navigate through degraded inputs, remain inside an approved geography and time window, and preserve operator authority when the link is intermittent. Corvus treats the air vehicle, onboard guidance, mission boundary and export governance as one system.
Aircraft and system configuration
Corvus is a fixed-wing, propeller-class one-way aircraft. The platform integrates:
- an onboard Sentinel Edge compute node for route and terminal mission functions;
- inertial navigation with terrain- and visual-assisted guidance;
- a long-range mission link for essential state, authorization and abort;
- a long-range-tier mission interface for approved effect integration; and
- an airframe and energy system organized around efficient one-way flight.

Sentinel relationship
Sentinel supplies mission planning, onboard execution and command boundaries. The operator authorizes the mission envelope and retains abort authority. Corvus does not autonomously select and engage individual people.
Export and responsible use
Corvus is available only for legitimate end users through applicable export review, end-user certification and re-export controls. Tairos does not integrate CBRN payloads or packages intended to cross the buyer’s tactical-strategic threshold.

Corvus is the deep-range member of the Tairos air portfolio. Nova-S covers loitering strike roles, while Strix provides the local FPV-origin effect layer. Sentinel connects all three at the command and mission-data level.
