Whole-system integration
An airframe cannot compensate for a weak link, an isolated sensor or an overloaded operator. Tairos engineers the vehicle and the system around it together.
The integrated stack
Airframe and structure
Geometry, propulsion, power and payload placement establish the physical envelope. Armed reusable platforms use collinear geometry where the mission requires direct fire; mobile platforms avoid unnecessary infrastructure dependencies.
Compute and autonomy
Sentinel Edge places perception, navigation and guidance functions on the platform. The compute tier is selected around platform size and mission role.
Communications and networking
Control links, platform-to-platform networking, Relay and the ground segment are treated as one communications architecture rather than separate accessories.
Sensors and payloads
Plexus provides a repeatable four-part integration pattern across physical connector, mechanical mount, electronic bus and software protocol.
Operator system
Panorama, the ground segment, Merlin TX and Tairos goggles connect tasking, situational awareness and positive-action authorization to the platform system.
Operational benefits
- Fewer one-off interfaces between products.
- Common training and spares within compatible tiers.
- Faster integration of new sensors and payloads.
- Consistent authority and safety logic across armed platforms.
- Clearer responsibility between the platform, network and operator.
