Plexus modular architecture
Our design principle we call Plexus coordinates the physical connector, mechanical mount, electronic bus and software protocol wherever two Tairos system elements meet.
Four connected layers
- Connector - a keyed physical connection appropriate to the environment.
- Mechanical interface - location, retention and vibration control.
- Electronic bus - power and signal paths selected for the application.
- Software and protocol - telemetry, configuration, mode and authority state.
The implementation changes by platform and weight tier. The pattern remains consistent.
Two forms of modularity

Factory-selected camera, link, navigation, seeker and operator configurations produce predictable variants without turning each order into a new platform.
Field modules
Compatible payload, sensing, communications and utility modules can be installed or exchanged within the relevant platform tier.
